Redington Hat
Lion Brand® Quick & Cozy
GAUGE: 5 1/2 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) in St st (k every rnd) with 2 strands of yarn held tog. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

| Somehow that hat does not seem to be stockinette stitch. The edge rolls up if done in stockinette without knitting and purling the first 3 or 4 4rows alternately. The second hat I made by using circular needle and sewing side seam when finished. I knitted every row back and forth and knitted the decreases on the knit rows....worked very well.
