Super Cute Cap
Lion Brand® Quick & Cozy
GAUGE: 6 stitches = 4 in. (10 cm) in pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

| I really like the stitch pattern (single crochet then a double crochet) on this hat. I used Lion Brand wool (double stranded for extra warmth) and used two skeins (3 oz each). Super easy to crochet. I added a row of single crochet and then a row of slip stitches to the bottom edge for a more finished look. I made a huge pom pom (3-3/8 inches) and it looks fabulous. I made the hat to match the "Coming Home" poncho as a set for a fall birthday present. Cheers, Judith
