Shape Sleeves
Cast on 10 (11, 12) sts at beg of next 2 rows – 55 (59, 63) sts.
Continue in St st, until piece measures 11 1/2 (12 1/2, 13 1/2) in. (29 (32, 34.5) cm) from beg, end with a WS row.
Shape Neck
Next Row (RS): K21 (22, 23) sts and place stitches on holder for Right Front, join 2nd ball of yarn and bind off next 13 (15, 17) sts for Back neck, k to end for Left Front.
Left Front
Working on 21 (22, 23) sts of Left Front only, work 5 more rows in St st.
Next Row (RS): K2, yo, knit to end – 22 (23, 24) sts at end of this row.
Next Row: Purl to last 2 sts, yo, p2 – 23 (24, 25) sts at end of this row.
Rep last 2 rows until Sleeve measures 10 (11, 12) in. (25.5 (28, 30.5) cm) from cast-on edge, end with a RS row.
Shape Sleeve
Next Row (WS): Bind off 10 (11, 12) sts, purl to last 2 sts, yo, p2.
Continue in St st working yo increases at neck edge every row until there are 34 (36, 38) sts on needle.
Continue even in St st until piece measures 24 (26, 28) in. (61 (66, 71) cm) from beg, end with a WS row.
Bind off.
Right Front
From WS, place Right Front stitches back on needle. Beg with a WS row, work 5 more rows in St st.
Next Row (RS): Knit to last 2 sts, yo, k2 – 22 (23, 24) sts at end of this row.
Next Row: P2, yo, purl to end – 23 (24, 25) sts at end of this row.
Rep last 2 rows until Sleeve measures 10 (11, 12) in. (25.5 (28, 30.5) cm) from cast-on edge, end with a WS row.
Shape Sleeve
Next Row (WS): Bind off 10 (11, 12) sts, knit to last 2 sts, yo, k2.

TIES
Using crochet hook, join yarn with sl st at lower end of Right Front neck shaping. Work a ch about 10 in. (25.5 cm) long for Tie. Fasten off. Join yarn with sl st at lower end of Left Front neck shaping. Work a ch about 24 in. (61 cm) long for Tie. Fasten off.
FINISHING
Fold piece in half at shoulder. Sew side and Sleeve seams, leaving 1/2 in. (1.5 cm) unsewn on right side seam 6 (6 1/2, 7) in. (15 (16.5, 18) cm) up from lower edge for Tie opening. Weave in ends.
