GAUGE:
16 sts + 24 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in St st (k on RS, p on WS) using larger needles. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION:
kfb (knit into front and back) Knit next st without removing it from left needle, then k through back of same st -1 st increased. ssk (slip, slip, knit) Slip next 2 sts as if to knit, one at a time, to right needle; insert left needle into fronts of these 2 sts and knit them together - 1 st decreased.

Read This Before You Start Knitting Reviewed by Lynda Olson on 2012-11-17
There are problems with this pattern. The third set of decreases on the body part of this pattern does not work out. Also the hood is too big. Buy this yarn but use the pattern for the Pink Lemonade Hoodie instead. Using that pattern and the organic cotton yarn worked. The patterns are very similar, but the hood is smaller and the decreases work. After comparing the patterns and switching the sweater turned out really cute!
