Knitterly Garland
Lion Brand® Holiday Homespun®
GAUGE: 14 sts + 20 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in St st (k on RS, p on WS) with A. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

FINISHING
Embroidery
Thread a length of B into blunt needle. Draw needle through to right side of Sweater. Shape yarn into an N, O, E or L on surface of Sweater, then secure with small sts.
When embroidery is complete, fold Sweater in half. Sew side and sleeve seams.
Weave in ends.
Garland
Cut 3 strands of B, 4 yd (3.5 m) long and fold in half. Secure folded end around a doorknob. Twist other end until taut and yarn begins to twist back on itself. Release end from doorknob. Bring ends together and let cord twist on itself, smoothing to even the twist. Knot ends.
Sew Sweaters, evenly spaced, to Cord leaving about 6 in. (15.5 cm) of Cord free on each end. Weave in ends. |

| This was quick & fun to make, but if you follow the instructions the neck will be off. I purled 13 instead of 12, then bound off 7 to center the neck opening.
