GAUGE:
11 dc = 4 in. (10 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION:
dc2tog (dc decrease) (Yarn over and draw up a lp in next dc, yarn over and draw through 2 lps) twice, yarn over and draw through all 3 lps on hook – 1 st decreased.
NOTES:
COLOR SEQUENCE Work 2 rows of each color in the following sequence: A,B,A,C,D,C,A,B,A,D,C,D,B.
AFGHAN With A, ch 150.
Row 1(RS): Dc in 4th ch from hook, (dc2tog) 3 times, 2 dc in each of next 6 ch, *(dc2tog) 6 times, 2 dc in next 6 ch; rep from * across to last 8 ch, end with (dc2tog) 3 times, dc in each of next 2 ch.
Row 2 (WS): Ch 3, turn (ch 3 counts as first dc). Dc in 2nd st from hook, (dc2tog) 3 times, 2 dc in each of next 6 sts, *(dc2tog) 6 times, 2 dc in next 6 sts; rep from * across to last 8 sts, end with (dc2tog) 3 times, dc in next st, dc in top of beg ch.
Rep Row 2, continuing in color sequence. Work sequence twice. Then work 2 rows each of A, B, and A. Fasten off.
FINISHING Edging From RS, join B with slip st to edge of Afghan. Work 2 rounds of sc evenly spaced around Afghan, working 3 sc in each corner. Fasten off.
Weave in ends.

An easy pattern to follow. However, as in a previous comment, my blanket also puckered. Don't know what caused it.
