Maple Shade Wrap

GAUGE:

5 V-sts + 5 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

STITCH EXPLANATION:

V-st (V-stitch) Work (dc, ch 2, dc) in st indicated.

Wrap
Ch 57.
Row 1: Work V-st in 6th ch from hook, *sk 2 ch, work V-st in next ch; rep from * to last 3 ch, sk 2 ch, dc in last ch - 17 ch-2 sp.
Row 2: Ch 3, turn, work V-st in each ch-2 sp across, dc in top of turning-ch.
Rep Row 2 until piece measures about 70 in. (178 cm) from beginning. Fasten off.

FINISHING
Weave in ends.

I love this pattern It works up quickly and easily. It can be worn as a wrap, scarf, or shawl and is very warm. Mine was done in Strawberry Fields.
