kfb (knit into front and back) Knit next st without removing it from left needle, then k through back of same st -1 st increased.
SCARF Cast on 2 sts. Inc Row: K to last st, kfb in last st - 3 sts. Rep Inc Row until you have a total of 27 sts. Dec Row: K to last 2 sts, k2tog - 26 sts. Rep Dec Row until 14 sts rem. Continue to inc to 27 sts and dec to 14 sts until piece measures about 60 in. (152.5 cm) from beginning, end with 14 sts. Rep Dec Row until 2 sts rem. K2tog. Cut yarn and pull through rem loop.
FINISHING Weave in ends.

I made this in Aurora, along with a hat, for the little girl next door for Christmas. Its really cute. The stitch pattern was boring to do, but the colors are so pretty, it was worth the trouble. I made it over one weekend, while watching TV. She will love it.
