Irresistible Baby Afghan
Lion Brand® Nature's Choice Organic® Cotton
GAUGE: 1 ripple + 6 1/2 rows = 5 in. (12.5 cm) in pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION: | dc2tog (dc dec) Yarn over, insert hook into st and draw up a loop, yarn over and draw through 2 loops. Yarn over, insert hook into next st and draw up a loop. Yarn over, draw through 2 loops, yarn over and draw through all loops on hook. |
NOTES: COLOR SEQUENCE
Work *3 rows with A, 3 rows with B, 3 rows with C; rep from * for Color Sequence.
1. Be sure to check your gauge. If one ripple measures less than 5 in. (12.5 cm), change to a larger hook.
2. For edging, work as many sc as needed to keep Afghan flat. If necessary, use a larger hook to work edging.
3. Block completed Afghan by dampening with water, then laying flat to dry.

| I loved this pattern! I made it for my baby nephew. I also got a bulky/textured effect when finished, but it didn't take away from the blanket in any way.
