Neptune Baby Throw
Lion Brand® Babysoft®
GAUGE: 16 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter st (k every row) with 1 strand each of A and B held togther. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: 1. Throw is worked with 1 strand each of A and B held tog throughout.
2. Circular needle is used to accommodate large number of stitches. Knit Throw back and forth in rows as if knitting with straight needles.

| This is a very nice pattern and knits up quickly and is very soft. I am making it for a raffle basket for a fundraiser st my daughter's church. I do have concerns about the yarn. I have combined twinkle print and white pompadour. The effect is soft and subtle. I had a problem with the twinkle print as I encountered a few large blotches of color which spoiled the subtle effect- I wish I had cut this out. Also the whote pompadour has less yarn in a skein even though the yardage on the yarn labels are the same. Please let knitters know that there may be problems. Marsha Gray, West Chester, Ohio
