Heloise Hen Reviewed by Cindy Cawthorne on 2011-07-06 *****
I love chickens and raise Rhode Island Red's, so when I saw this pattern I had to give it a try. It was my first experience with amigurumi and I'm hooked! I didn't have white yarn, so I used a verigated brown w/ russet red in it (for a Rhodie)and it worked out great. I think to make things a little simpler I will sew on all but the legs prior to stuffing. Also, I didn't have beads for eyes so I used black yarn and made French knots. I've named my hen 'Ruthie the Rhode Island Red.'
