Rnd 4: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 2 sts, rep from * around - 24 sts.

Fold body in half to make a semicircle, stuff and sew closed. Sew on black beads for eyes. Stuff beak lightly, flatten and sew to body. Fold wings into semicircles and sew closed. Sew wings to body. Sew on feet and crest. Weave in ends.

The pattern was simple enough for me to teach it to my little granddaughter; it was great fun to make together. I look forward to making more with her, as well as trying some of the other doll patterns too.
