HEAD AND BODY Beg at head, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first ch. Place marker in first st for beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.

Rnd 3: Sc in each st around.
Rnd 4: Work 2 sc in each of next 6 sts (for top of head), sc in each of next 6 sts. – 18 sts.
Rnd 5: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st, rep from * for a total of 6 times, sc in each of next 6 sts – 24 sts.
Rnds 6-9: Sc in each st around. Following package directions, attach eyes.

I've made several animals like this, and I thought this pattern was sub-par. The piece came out looking odd, not cute. I wouldn't suggest sewing the head and body in the same piece, and I also wouldn't suggest sewing the head in the funny shape that the pattern gives.
