Learn to Knit Cuff
Lion Brand® Recycled Cotton
GAUGE: About 19 stitches = 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter stitch (knit every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

CUFF (make 2)
Cast on 33 stitches.
Work in Garter stitch (knit every stitch on every row) until piece measures about 8 1/2 in. (21.5 cm) from beginning.
Bind off, leaving a long yarn tail.
FINISHING
Fold knit piece in half. Thread yarn tail into blunt needle. Sew sides of Cuff together for about 2 in. (5 cm). Leave next 1 in. (2.5 cm) unsewn for thumb opening, then seam remainder of sides.
Weave yarn ends into inside (wrong side) of Cuff.

I like this pattern - very easy! Although I shortened mine to 6 1/2" in length vs the 8 1/2". This length worked better for me, although my husband likes his at the 8 1/2" length.
I also added a pattern to mine:
Leaving about a 15” tail to sew with:
Cast on 33 stitches
Knit stitch next 10 rows
*Pattern:
Stocking stitch next 4 rows (row 1 – purl, row 2- knit, row 3- purl, row 4-knit)
Knit stitch next 10 rows
Repeat *pattern 3 more times
(You should have 5 total knited rows and 4 total stocking stitch rows.)
Cast off, leaving about a 6” tail to sew with.
Cast On end is bottom of cuff, Cast off is top.
Fold square in half, inside out, with knit rows horizontal, counting from bottom – up:
Sew seams together from bottom to top of 3rd stocking stitched row
Leaving next knitted row and stocking stitched row open for thumb, sew remaining knitted row to top.
