Hometown Scarf

Lion Brand® Hometown USA®

GAUGE:

12 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) in k2, p2 Rib, slightly stretched. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

STITCH EXPLANATION:

K2, p2 Rib

Row 1: *K2, p2; rep from * across.
Row 2: K the knit sts and p the purl sts.

Rep Rows 1 and 2 for k2, p2 Rib.

NOTES:

When changing colors, carry unused color along side of work.

SCARF
With A, cast on 28 sts.
Rows 1 and 2: With A, work in k2, p2 Rib.
Rows 3 and 4: With B, work in k2, p2 Rib.
Rep Rows 1-4 until piece measures about 64 in. (162.5 cm) from beginning. Bind off.

FINISHING
Weave in ends.

I love this scarf!! It was super easy and quick to make!! I used hometown and a red and white. It is super soft and fluffy!! I can't wait for winter to wear to Bama games!! I plan on making many more for christmas presents!!
