Lion Brand® Hometown USATM
GAUGE: 12 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) in k2, p2 Rib, slightly stretched. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION: K2, p2 Rib
Row 1: *K2, p2; rep from * across.
Row 2: K the knit sts and p the purl sts.
Rep Rows 1 and 2 for k2, p2 Rib.

NOTES: When changing colors, carry unused color along side of work.
|
SCARF With A, cast on 28 sts.
Rows 1 and 2: With A, work in k2, p2 Rib.
Rows 3 and 4: With B, work in k2, p2 Rib.
Rep Rows 1-4 until piece measures about 64 in. (162.5 cm) from beginning.
Bind off.
FINISHING

| This is a fun scarf to knit. It's super easy and goes together so quickly it almost knits itself! Great for in front of the TV or riding in the car. And so cozy. I can't wait to send it to my daughter at college.
