I just completed this beautiful afghan but I used worsted weight yarn and size 8 straight needles which gave me a beautiful lapghan. Perfect for someone who is confined to a wheelchair for example, or for someone who just likes to sit and knit. The pattern was easy and I did not use markers. Thanks for this very useful pattern.
