GAUGE:

16 sc = 4 in. (10 cm) with A. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

STITCH EXPLANATION:

hdc2tog (hdc decrease) Yarn over, insert hook into st and draw up a loop. Insert hook into next st and draw up a loop. Yarn over, draw through all 4 loops on hook.

Duckie Bib Reviewed by NICOLE BALES on 2010-02-08 ****
Made with different yarn in same colors, I thought the cotton ease yarn was a bit pricey. Especially since some of the other bibs of this style have 3 colors each. Made the frog, owl, and chick for a baby shower gift. They turned out super cute.
