TREE
Apply glue to a small area of foam cone, then wrap evenly with yarn. Continue applying glue to one small area at a time, then wrapping with yarn until cone is completely covered. Allow to dry.
Foliage
*Ch 6, sc in 3rd ch from hook, hdc in next ch, dc in next ch; rep from * until piece measures about 8 ft. (2.5 m) from beg, *ch 5, sc in 3rd ch from hook, dc in next ch; rep from * until piece measures about 9 ft. (2.75 m) from beg, *ch 4, sc in 2nd ch from hook, dc in next ch; rep from * until piece measures about 10 ft. (3 m) from beg. Fasten off.
FINISHING
Apply glue to a small area at base of cone. Beg at glued end, wrap Foliage around cone, holding Foliage in place with straight pins until glue dries. Continue applying small amounts of glue, then wrapping with Foliage until cone is covered. Allow to dry. |
