Gleeful Tweed Baby Blanket
Lion Brand® Jiffy®
GAUGE: 8 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter st (knit every row) with 1 strand each of A and B held tog. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: 1. Circular needle is used to accommodate large number of stitches. Work back and forth in rows as if knitting on straight needles.
2. Blanket is worked with 1 strand each of A and B held together throughout.

This pattern works up nicely with single strand Cotton Ease.
For an older child, try using school colors!!
