Sugar Hill Baby Throw

Lion Brand® Sock-EaseTM - Cotton-Ease®

GAUGE:

22 sts and 20 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) with 1 strand each of A and C held tog in K1, p1 Rib. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Sugar Hill Baby Throw Reviewed by Karen Homer on 2010-09-24 *****
When I saw this colorful pattern, I had to make it, even though there was no baby in mind. Fortunately, now there is a special baby-to-be in the family.
I also substituted Sock-Ease Cotton candy in one of the last squares, or I would have run out of the Sock-Ease Lemon Drop.
In order to carry the 2 strands of very different yarns together, I used large plastic bobbins to organize the yarns.
