Knitted One-Stitch Sweater Set

Lion Brand® Wool-Ease®

15 sts = 4” in garter stitch. TO INSURE PROPER SIZE, BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.

When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Making a Gauge Swatch

ssk = slip, slip, knit: Slip the next 2 sts knitwise, one at a time, from the tip of the left-hand needle to the tip of the right-hand needle; insert the lefthand needle into the fronts of these 2 sts from the left and knit them together from this position.

Knitted One-Stitch Sweater Set Reviewed by Jennie on 2013-11-14 *****
I just finished knitting this sweater, and it is very cute. It is the first sweater I have ever knit so I was a little nervous starting out but it came together easily enough and I love that it is all in one piece. The hat is very easy as well. I've made a couple of those in different colors for my baby girl.
