With smaller needles, cast on 67 (71, 75) sts. Work in Seed st until piece measures 1 in. (2.5 cm) from beg. Change to larger needles and work in St st until piece measures 7 (8, 9) in. (18 (20.5, 23) cm) from beg, end with a WS row.
Shape Armhole
Bind off 3 (4, 4) sts at beg of next 2 rows – 61 (63, 67) sts.
Work even in St st until armhole measures 4 (4 1/2, 5) in. (10 (11.5, 12.5) cm) from beg, end with a WS row.
Next Row (RS): K11 (12 13), place marker, work across next 39 (39, 41) sts in Seed st as established, place marker, k11 (12, 13).
Next Row (WS): P to marker, sl marker, work in Seed st to next marker, sl marker, p to end.

 SLEEVES (make 2)
With smaller needles, cast on 37 (41, 43) sts. Work in Seed st until piece measures 1 in. (2.5 cm) from beg, end with a WS.
Change to larger needles and work in St st, increase 1 st each side every 8th row 5 (6, 7) times - 47 (53, 57) sts. Work even in St st until Sleeve measures 13 1/2 (15, 16 1/2) in. (34.5 (38, 42) cm) from beg. Bind off.
FINISHING
Sew shoulder seams, matching Seed st at neck edge to Seed st on back neck. Sew in Sleeves. Sew side and Sleeve seams.
Ties
From RS with crochet hook, join yarn with a slip st at top corner of Left Front. Chain for 12 in. (30.5 cm). Fasten off. Rep on Right Front.
In same way, make a chain on RS at left side seam 2 (3, 4) in. (5 (7.5, 10) cm) above lower edge and on WS at right side seam 2 (3, 4) in. (5 (7.5, 10) cm) above lower edge. Weave in ends.
