GAUGE: 17 stitches + 20 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter stitch (knit every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

SCARF
Cast on 22 stitches.
Work even in Garter stitch (knit every row) until piece measures about 64 in. (162.5 cm). Bind off.
FINISHING
Weave in ends.

| I knitted this scarf several days ago. It looks glamorous!! It wraps twice around the neck. If I make it again I would add at least 4 more inches to the length. I am a tall person and need just a little more on the length. It feels like real fur.
