Morning Glory Washcloths

Lion Brand® Cotton-Ease® (new)

GAUGE:

16 sts + 26 rows = 4 in. (10 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

STITCH EXPLANATION:

skp (decrease) - slip 1, knit 1, pass slip stitch over knit stitch.

Morning Glory Washcloths Reviewed by Ricki Gross on 2009-08-21 *
While this pattern is pretty easy to do, and makes a great looking washcloth, it is a little impractical. The gauge worked perfectly, but the mesh was too large when wet. My fingers kept poking through the holes. Just not the kind of gift I want to give. I will not be making this pattern again, unless I make it as a scarf in a really nice yarn like a bamboo blend. Now that would be a nice gift!
