Lion Brand® Nature's Choice Organic® Cotton - Cotton-Ease®

GAUGE:

12 sts + 16 rnds = 4 in. (10 cm) in St st worked in the rnd (k every rnd) with 1 strand each of A and B held tog and larger needle. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Making a Gauge Swatch

NOTES:

1) Sections 2 and 3 of the Cowl begin by picking up sts along the bound-off edge of the previous section.
2) To increase, k into A strand of next st, then k into B strand of same st – 1 st increased.

Brighton Circle Cowl Reviewed by Renee Van Hoy on 2009-12-20 ****
Very pretty, and quite soft and warm in the doubled cotten strands. The cotton is a little hard to work with, no give in it, so I took rests between sessions. I have made 3 so far, because two friends saw mine and asked for one.
