Lion Brand® Cotton-Ease® (new)

GAUGE:

20 sts + 28 rows = 4 in. [10 cm] in pattern stitch. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Playful Stripes Cardigan Reviewed by Betty Scheu on 2009-06-05 ****
Sweater came out too wide and
I knit very close to guage.
Made size 6 and it looks
closer to an 8 with the size
7 needles. This is a good
sweater to use up scrap worsted yarn and would make a
nice "Joseph's Coat" sweater with many changes of colors.
There are many yarn ends to
weave in when the sweater is
finished and that isn't much
fun! Sweater is good to use as a jacket as the worsted yarn makes it heavy. Have fun!
