13 hdc + 9 rows = 4 in. (10 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. I loved the outcome of this pattern! It is modern but classic. The fit is wonderful. It was very easy and fun to make. I belong to a knit/crochet group and they all loved the jacket and want to make their own.
