Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across.

Rep Row 2 until piece measures about 5 in. (12.5 cm) from beginning.

This is a fast and easy pattern to make and is great for first-time crocheters. I made this in about a day and used red and pink ombre yarn. I added tassles and a border. It turned out great!
