GAUGE:

12 sts + 10 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in hdc. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Wee Vest Reviewed by Krystal Karki on 2009-10-10 ****
I made this vest for my friends son. I had a lot of problems with the hood. It was almost time for the birthday party, so I gave up. I folded the corners down and sewed it down with some fun buttons and it worked out okay. I will try again with the hood another time. It would be nice if someone could post a picture of how theirs turned out.
