GAUGE:
16 sts + 23 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) over Seed st. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

I tried this scarf using the new Amazing yarn. The cable holes were so bad, I decided to tear the project apart. I thought the seed stitch border was a good idea. I loved the feel of the Amazing yarn - just need to find a pattern that will work better with that yarn. Perhaps Vanna's yarn would work okay with this pattern.
