Jumbo Cotton Stripes Scarf

Lion Brand® Cotton-Ease®

GAUGE:

8 sts + 11 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in pattern with 6 strands of A held tog. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

NOTES:

Carry color not in use along side of work.

SCARF
With 6 strands of A held tog, cast on 16 sts.
Row 1 (RS): With A, knit.
Row 2: With A, purl.
Row 3: With B, knit.
Row 4: With B, purl.
Rep last 4 rows until almost all yarn has been used. Bind off.

FINISHING
Working with 1 strand at a time, weave in ends.
