Short Row Scarf

Lion Brand^® LB Collection^® Superwash Merino

GAUGE:

25 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter st (k every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

STITCH EXPLANATION:

Kfb (k in front and back) Knit next st without removing it from left needle, then k through back of same st – 1 st increased.

NOTES:

1. Scarf is shaped by working short rows: knitting across only some of the sts and leaving the remaining sts unworked at the end of specific rows.
2. Do not cut yarn between color changes.

Presenting my Short Row Scarf - Pattern Number: 80901AD. Great project to learn or enhance your short row technique...garter stitch through out...minor increasing and decreasing. This pattern has a lot of versatility for how you can where it. I made it with a button; however, you could achieve the same effect by using a fabulous shawl pin.
