NOTES: Scarf is worked using 4 strands of yarn held tog throughout.

SCARF
With 4 strands of yarn held tog, ch 32.
Row 1: Dc in 6th ch from hook (beginning ch counts as dc, ch 1), *ch 1, sk next ch, dc in next ch; rep from * across – 15 dc and 14 ch-1 sp.
Row 2: Ch 4, turn, sk next ch-1 sp, *dc in next dc, ch 1; rep from * across, dc in 3rd ch of turning ch.
Rep Row 2 until almost all yarn has been used; leave tails long enough to fasten off and weave in.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
Weave in ends.

I made this scarf within 2 - 3 hours a few weeks before St. Pat's. It was a real easy crochet.
Unfortunately I did not have the lionbrand yarn, but a bargin bin yarn in a dark blue.
To jazz it up, I found a shamrock pattern on the web. Made some of those, in a bright green(that was a lionbrand yarn) and just added them to the scarf.
It is safe to say, once mom saw it, I never saw it again.
