GAUGE:

27 sts + 26 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in Lace Pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Lacy Luxe Scarf Reviewed by Darlene Garrison on 2013-01-01 *****
I am currently working on this pattern. I purchased the black cashmere. First of all, this pattern has "no problems" in it and is absolutely beautiful. Knowing all the terminology before starting something like this is important. I read over a pattern several times before starting. Here is a few recommendations for those that have had problems with this pattern. First of all, as any of the knitters I know would say, Don't do a pattern like this unless you have full concentration because when you have a lot of yarn overs, etc. you need to think. Secondly, write out the pattern on a different piece of paper and color code or on index cards. Lastly, talk to yourself as you are going along. There is a design in this pattern with all the lace design that comes out very beautiful!!! If anyone needs to send me a message for help please do so at dar.garrison@gmail.com. I love it!!!
