GAUGE:

Exact gauge is not essential to this project.

SHAWL
First Half
Cast on 48 sts.
Row 1: Sl 1, increase 1 st in next st, k to last 2 sts, k2tog.
Row 2: Sl 1, k to end of row.
Rep last 2 rows until piece measures 36 in. (91.5 cm) along diagonal edge, ending with a Row 1.

Second Half
Rows 1 and 2: Rep Rows 1 and 2 of First Half.
Row 3: Rep Row 1 of First Half.
Rep Rows 2 and 3 until Second Half measures same as First Half.
Bind off.

FINISHING
Weave in ends.

Enjoyed doing this in Homepun Tudor. I turned the corner when I was close to the end of the first ball, about 33 inches, and matched the color run with the second ball to make it symmetrical. Interestingly, the two balls of yarn were wound different ly, with the colors going in opposite order. That is not a trait I would always wish in two balls of the same yarn, but it was good with this, as I was able to pull both from the inside.
