GAUGE:

11 sc = 4 in. (10 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Basically Striped Afghan Reviewed by midge on 2009-11-30 *****
No picture to display but this is a very easy pattern and quick. I made mine wider and longer than what is called for so it would be more of an afghan than a throw. Starting on my second one now with alternating different colors within the pattern.
