GAUGE: 1 ripple pattern = about 4 in. (10 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

With A, ch 59.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in next 5 ch, 3 sc in next ch, sc in next 6 ch, *sk next 2 ch, sc in next 6 ch, 3 sc in next ch, sc in next 6 ch; rep from * across - 60 sc at the end of this row - 4 ripples.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in first st, sk next st, sc in next 5 sts, 3 sc in next st, *sc in next 6 sts, sk next 2 sts, sc in next 6 sts, 3 sc in next st; rep from * across to last 7 sts, sc in next 5 sts, sk next st, sc in last st.
Rep Row 2 until piece measures about 32 in. (81.5 cm) from beginning. Fasten off.
FINISHING
From right side, sew first and last row together. Seam one side. Insert pillow form and seam remaining side. Weave in ends.
