With B, ch 3. Work 6 sc in 3rd ch from hook, sl st in beg st to join. Rnd 1: Ch 1, work 2 sc in each st around. Rnd 2: Rep Rnd 1. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
WHITE
With A, ch 3. Work 6 sc in 3rd ch from hook, sl st in beginning st to join. Rnd 1: Ch 1, work 2 sc in each st around-12 sc. Rnd 2: Ch 1, *sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, rep from * around-18 sc. Rnd 3: Ch 1, *sc in each of next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st, rep from * around-24 sc. Rnd 4: Ch 2, *dc in each of next 4 sts, sc in next st, hdc in each of next 5 sts, sc in each of next 2 sts, rep from * around. Fasten off.
FINISHING
Stuff Yolk lightly and sew to center of White. Weave in ends. Glue a magnet to wrong side.

The egg was simple to make. I made adjustments, I made the shape of the white, more irregular so that it looks like a real egg, and then I added a small bit of stuffing (yellow yarn) under the yolk to mimic the puffiness. My 2 yr old loves playing wiht the yarn toys I make, so we'll play a food fight without all the mess!
