Meandering Rib Scarf
Lion Brand® Fishermen's Wool®
GAUGE: 25 sts + 30 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in Stockinette st (k on right side, p on wrong side). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

I love the look of this scarf. It was very time consuming, so give yourself plenty of time if it is for a gift.
I made it for my husband as I feel the zigzag is a great masculin look.
However I didn't make it nearly as long and only made it long enough for him to cross over his neck inside of his winter coat.
It lays nice and flat and isn't too bulky for this purpose.
I used a basic black worsted weight yarn.
