GAUGE:
14 single crochet = 5 in. (12.5 cm).
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES:
To change color work last stitch of old color to last yarn over, yarn over with next color and draw through all loops on hook to complete stitch.

Stripes! Blanket Reviewed by debbie naudain on 2010-01-30
I made this blanket for a Christmas gift and didn't want to give it away. So easy but oh so many ends to weave in. I made it easier by weaving in ends every few rows. I changed the colors to make it a bit more masculine.
