Crochet Square Monster
Lion Brand® Fun Fur - Wool-Ease® - Microspun
GAUGE: 16 sc + 18 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) with 1 strand each of A and B held tog. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

I have seven grandchildren, most of whom fall into the age category, that I anticipate will appreciate these "monsters".
I anticipate that I will enjoy making these as much as the kids will enjoy playing with them, and the textures will be great for the younger kids.
I can see these monsters being lined up to play "schools" "doctors" and "mums and babies", all favourite games and all requiring many more participants, so that I will be crocheting for a while to come.
Thanks so much for the idea.
