Pocketed Shawlette
Lion Brand® Homespun®
GAUGE: 8 sts + 9 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in sc. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION: FPSC (front post single crochet) Insert hook from front to back then to front, going around the indicated stitch post, draw up a loop, yo and draw through 2 loops on hook.

BPDC (back post double crochet) Yo, insert hook from back to front then to back, going around the dc post, draw up a loop, (yo and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice.

| I made this in a day. I had a hard time keeping up with the stitches going around, but the end result was really good. Lots of complements!!
