My Favorite Blankie
Lion Brand® Babysoft® - Cupcake®
GAUGE: 14 stitches + 24 rows = 4 in. [10 cm] in Garter stitch (knit every row) with 1 strand of A and 1 strand of C held together. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

I knitted this blanket in two yellow, two blue and two green wide stripes with the white yarn as the second strand. I gave it to our great grandson who was recently born. Because I had worked on it in many places, I washed it before I gave it to my granddaughter. The cupcake and babysoft yarns made a beautiful blanket and it even looked better after I washed it.
