Short Row Scarf

Lion Brand® Wool-Ease® Thick & Quick®

GAUGE:

9 stitches + 12 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter stitch (knit every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Short Row Scarf Reviewed by Melanie Charles on 2010-12-12 **
I am a beginner knitter and this was my first big project. The pattern was easy to follow. However like someone else mentioned. The finished project did not look good. It was just a big bulky mess. My stitches were good, however not really sure how to wear it. It is very overwhelming. Someone else suggested using 2 balls of yarn instead of 4, that may make the difference. I also weaved some wire in to give it shape (not so good either) Because I don't want to waste it, I am going to do some unraveling to make it shorter and wearable.
