Lion Brand® Wool-Ease® Thick & Quick®
GAUGE:
4 sts + 4 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in Stockinette st (k on RS, p on WS) with 3 strands of yarn held together. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Garter borders are worked with 2 strands of yarn held together. Change to 3 strands held together for St st sections.

Weekender Jacket Reviewed by AnnMarie Turner on 2012-09-10
I did mess up on the row counts quite often, my own fault. BUT . . I found that the instructions for finishing the garment were not clear at all. It would have been helpful to know just how many stitches one should have after picking up all the neck band stitches. AND . . there were no instructions on how to finish the construction. This is listed as an "EASY" skill level. As someone who hasn't knitted in over 20 years, this was a bit of a stumbling block. I thought I'd missed printing a page, but after checking that out, I see there really wasn't instructions for TOTALLY finishing this.
