Basic Sampler Scarf

Lion Brand® Wool-Ease®

GAUGE:

17 stitches and 24 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in Stockinette stitch (knit on right side, purl on wrong side). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Basic Sampler Scarf Reviewed by Mary Crawford on 2009-04-11 *****
This was a great pattern to learn many differant stiches. I'm pretty new to knitting. In addition to learning stiches I also learned that I need to write down what row I'm working on. Haven't learned how to count stiched rows. So there are some errors in my work but that's OK. I used Wool-Ease with the sparkly thread and it turned out real pretty. Planning to make more as Christmas gifts.
