GAUGE:
8 sts + 5 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in pattern stitch. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION:

Lacy Throw Reviewed by Sarah Doherty on 2010-06-02
Made this with 20 extra stitches, thanks to the advice of other reviewers. I couldn't get the chili red yarn (which is used twice as much as the other colors in this pattern) so I substituted Dusty Pink and made the Gold the primary color. Just realized I added tassles to the sides not the bottom, but as my throw is so much wider they looked fine. Great pattern. Easy to do, once you get the hand of the clusters and V stitches.I would definitley make this again. The colors and yarn are just beautiful and lovely to work with.
