GAUGE: Rnds 1–3 = 3 1/2 in. (9 cm) in pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

COLOR SEQUENCE
Work 1 rnd with A, 1 rnd with B, 1 rnd with C, 1 rnd with D, 1 rnd with E, 1 rnd with F, 1 rnd with G, 1 rnd with H, 1 rnd with J, 1 rnd with K. Rep these 10 rnds for Color Sequence.
AFGHAN
With A, ch 4; join with sl st in first ch to form a ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 3 (counts as first dc here and throughout), 2 dc in ring, ch 2, (3 dc in ring, ch 2) 3 times; join with sl st in top of beg ch - 4 ch-2 sp. Fasten off.
Rnd 2: Join B with sl st in any ch-2 sp, ch 3, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in same sp (corner made), ch 1, *(3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch-2 sp (corner made), ch 1; rep from * 2 more times; join with sl st in top of beg ch - 4 corners. Fasten off.
Rnd 3: Join C with sl st in any corner ch-2 sp, ch 3, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in same sp, ch 1, 3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1, *(3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch-2 sp, ch 1, 3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1; rep from * 2 more times; join with sl st in top of beg ch - 4 corners and one 3-dc Block on each side. Fasten off.
Rnd 4: Join next color of Color Sequence with sl st in any corner ch-2 sp, ch 3, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in same sp, ch 1, *(3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1) to next corner ch-2 sp, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next corner ch-2 sp, ch 1; rep from * 2 more times, (3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1) across to beg corner ch-2 sp; join with sl st in top of beg ch - 4 corners and two 3-dc Blocks on each side. Fasten off.
Rnds 5-50: Rep Rnd 4, following Color Sequence, working one more 3-dc Block on each side every rnd.
Rnd 51: Rep Rnd 4 with C.
FINISHING
Weave in ends.
