Easy Does It Blanket
Lion Brand® Homespun®
GAUGE: 12 sts + 14 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in sc. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION: | Popcorn: Work 3 sc in indicated st or sp, drop last loop from hook, insert hook in first sc of 3-sc group, pick up dropped loop and draw through st on hook. |
NOTES: To change color, work last st of old color to last yarn over. Yarn over with new color and draw through all loops on hook to complete st.

| Easy Does It Blanket Reviewed by Kimberly Penney on 2010-04-16 |

| I have just finished my third of this pattern. Two have been baby blankets I do with Lion Brand Jiffy so they are nice and soft, use a J needle and just do 3 X 3 squares. It is such a fast, easy pattern and everyone is so impressed by the outcome! Looking forward to starting a big one (No. 4) for myself this time!! Image 1 is the new baby afghan (without the border) and image 2 is the first one I made. I believe I just did 3 x 4 blocks on it with a larger hook, like L. It's awesome!
