GAUGE:
9 stitches = 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter stitch (knit every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
THROW
Cast on 84 stitches. Work in Garter stitch (knit every row) for 4 rows (2 Garter stitch ridges). Row 5 (Right Side): Knit across. Row 6 (Wrong Side): Knit 2 stitches, purl 80 stitches, knit 2 stitches.
Repeat Rows 5 and 6 until Throw measures 47 in. (119.5 cm) from beginning, end with a wrong side row. Work in Garter stitch for 4 rows (2 Garter stitch ridges). Bind off.
FINISHING
Weave in ends.
I think I am going to make this in the Paprika/rust color. I can't pay $60 for all of this yarn! But the blanket looks very beautiful
