Hooded Baby Poncho
Lion Brand® Homespun®
GAUGE:
14 sts + 20 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in St st (k on RS, p on WS). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES:
Poncho is knit in one piece, starting at lower front edge, up over shoulders and down to lower back edge.

Hooded Baby Poncho Reviewed by Kristine Dunkleman on 2010-01-07
Love this pattern. So simple and fast to knit up. Baby's mother absolutely loves to put onto the baby. Child does not fight when putting in onto her. The mother has even been asked where to buy the poncho. Told them they couldn't buy it since "Nana" made it. Recomend this pattern for a beginner who would like to make a quick gift. I am sure I will be making this pattern again.
